The 5PC720.1505-01 Front Overlay Touch Digitizer PPC700 has temperature sensors in various places (I/O, power supply, slide-in drive 1). The locations of the temperature sensors can be found in the figure "Temperature sensor locations". The value listed in the table represents the defined maximum temperature for this measurement point. An alarm is not triggered when this temperature is exceeded. The temperatures can be read in BIOS (menu item "Advanced" - Main board/panel features - Main board monitor) or in Microsoft Windows XP/embedded, using the B&R Control Center.

Question: How to change the battery?
Answer:
• Disconnect the power supply to the 5PC720.1505-01 Front Overlay Touchscreen Panel PC 700.
• Touch the housing or ground connection (not the power supply!) in order to discharge any electrostatic charge from your body.
• Remove the black plastic cover from the battery compartment and carefully pull out the battery using removal strips.
• Insert the new battery with correct polarity. The battery should not be held by its edges. Insulated tweezers may also be used for inserting the battery.
• To make the next battery change easier, be sure the removal strip is in place when inserting battery.
• Reconnect the power supply to the 5PC720.1505-01 Touch Panel Protective Film Panel PC 700 by plugging the power cable back in and pressing the power button.
• Reset the data and time in BIOS.
