The HMIG5U2 HMI touchscreen is a Schneider Magelis GTO HMI Panels 15" HMI that make use of a resistive touch screen panel. It come with a 5.7-inch analog resistive 4-wire touch screen and Dig 16 inputs/10 outputs. It also belongs to the monochrome controller pane.
When connecting the XBTZGI232, the COM port's pin 9 setting should be VCC. You can define COM port settings in Vijeo Designer or in the HMIGTO's offline menu. The RS-232C Isolation Unit works with only RS-422/485 (4 wire) communication.Cable-Gateway for Siemens Profibus / MPI (XBT ZG9292) is not supported by HMIG5U HMIG5U2 .
The Magelis HMIG5U2 touch panel 15 inch color touch controller panel - Dig 8 inputs/8 outputs +Ana 4 In/2 Out. The STN dispaly backlight allows dimming and energy efficient and the Pixel resolution with 1032 x 840 pixels QVGA. The integrated design of the Magelis GTO HMI touchscreen delivers maximum functionality while keeping installation easy. Especially suitable for small machines and simple process control, its state-of-the-art display provides a crystal-clear readability.
